  4. Normally installation is performed automatically, but here you can read how to do it manually.

  6. DELPHI 4
  7. 1.  Extract component files. It is better extract into C:\Program Files, 
  8.   so component create folder C:\Program Files\Balmsoft Polyglot\Delphi 4.     
  9.   
  10. 2.  Place library files (bsPolyglotD4.bpl and dclbsPolyglotD4.bpl)
  11.   into your Delphi bin folder. Usually Delphi bin folder is
  12.   C:\Program Files\Borland\Delphi4\Bin
  13.   
  14. 3.  Open Delphi and choose menu item Tools\Environment options,
  15.   Environment options dialog appears. Choose library tab page.  Add
  16.   path to *.dcu  files into Library path edit (there is a button
  17.   with ...). If you used default folder then dcu files are placed in
  18.   C:\Program Files\Balmsoft Polyglot\Delphi 4\Lib. If you have
  19.   bought a version with sources then add path to sources into
  20.   Browsing Path. Save settings.

  22. 4.   In Delphi choose menu Component\Install package. A window
  23.   with all installed packages appears. Press Add and choose
  24.   dclbsPolyglotD4.bpl.

  26. 5.  Installation is completed. There are two new components on the
  27.   palette (TbsPolyglotTranslator and TbsPolyglotManager) and also
  28.   one more menu item in Project menu ("Generate LNG file").

  30. Very often during installing component (step 4) Delphi reports
  31.   that bsPolyglotD4.bpl can not be found. This means that you need
  32.   place bsPolyglotD4.bpl into folder that is included into path
  33.   variable, for example Delphi bin or system folder like
  34.   C:\WINNT\System32 (or C:\WINDOWS\System32 for Windows 9x).
